'A' is used before words that begin with consonants- ( b, c, d, f, g, h....)
Example : A boy , a bicycle, a tree , a cat ,
'An' is used before words that begin with vowel sounds- ( a, e, i, o, u,)
Example : an apple, an umbrella , an orange , an egg
'An' is also used with words that begin with silent h Example : an hour , an heir , an honour , an honest girl
'The' is used when we speak of only one such thing or person in the world Example : the king , the sun , the earth , the prime minister
'The' is used when we mention the same thing or person again. Example : I ate orange. The orange was sour
'The' is used before a particular person or thing Example : This is the girl I talked to yesterday

An adjective is a describing word. It describes a person, an animal or a thing.
It is used before nouns. Example : a tall man , a sharp pencil , a black cat
It is also used to talk about the shape, size colour, and condition of nouns. Example : a square box , a thin man , a brown carpet
Comparison of Adjective
1. The comparative form
(a) The comparative is used to compare two things.
(b) It is formed by adding -er to one-syllable adjectives. Example : loud - louder, sharp - sharper
(c) It is also formed by using more + than for adjective for more than three syllables. Example : The sofa is more comfortable than that sofa
2.The superlative form
(a) The superlative form is used to compare more than two things.
(b) It is formed by adding -est to one-syllable adjective. Example : tall-tallest , dark-darkest , loud-loudest
(c) The is used before adjective in the superlative form Example : Harun is the tallest among all the pupil in class.
(d)The most is used with adjective of three or more syllable Example : That is the most beautiful painting I have ever seen.

adverb
1. Adverb tell us more about verbs, adjective or other adverb.
2. Adverb of manner tell us how action are done. Example : Mimi wrote down the exercise 'neatly'.
3. Most adverb manner are form by adding -ly to an adjective. Example : answer clearly , ask politely , cry sadly.
4. Adverb of frequently tell us how often an action is done. Example : Gina 'always' watches TV in the evening.
5. Adverb of time tell us when an action happens. Example : They had dinner 'after' the show.
6. Adverb of place tell us where an action is done. Example : We have to wait 'here'.
